I really like this app but it seems a bit unfinished. Are you keeping it up to date? For example, most quotes don’t fit in the widget so a larger widget would be nice. Also, custom categories are actually simply search keywords instead of themes and thus only gives you the quotes that contain those words, not very useful. Anyway, thanks for a nice app!

Thanks Jakob. Yes, I’m working on some updates but haven’t got around to release them yet.
A bigger widget is a nice idea, I’ll add it in the subsequent release. 🙂

    Hi,
Great app! I can support the idea of a bigger widget, perhaps one that can use the whole width of the screen, but still only one unit high?
Also, I would like to know if the favorites are saved in a file that can be backed up or exported somewhere? I have quite a few and would like to copy them to my computer?

    • gtbimaykel Says:

Thanks Martin. Actually the widget size is now 4×1 in the latest version.
Currently, favorites are saved in a database.
That’s a nice idea, I’ll include it in the next update.

    Hi, great app!
I´d like to know if there´s a way to use my own quotes collection in my language.
    Thanks!

Hi. I like the quotes, but it you let me share them on Twitter. Keeps telling me my username and password are incorrect. I suspect its a authorisation issue as it doesn’t ask me to authorize the app with Twitter.

What is going on with the app? Cannot post to FB. Everything is all scrambled. Please fix!!

  7. Lynette Says:

The app will not let you post to Facebook. This has been going on the past 2 or 3 days. Please fix!

    Hi,

I lost my favorites in a reset of the phone. I still have the SD card though. Is there any chance I can extract the favorites from a file on the SD card? If not, can you let us know where they are stored for future reference?

    • gtbimaykel Says:

      Hi Martin,

Favorites are saved on a database which unfortunately gets erased when you do a reset.
I’ll can an an export to file for this.

Sorry everyone, wasn’t able to release updates as often as before. But rest assured that I’m keeping tab on your requests.

    Hi,

I use the “share by e-mail” feature alot, but since upgrading to Android 2.3.3 on my HTC Legend (HTC Wildfire S rom) I get the message that no program can perform that action. E-mail is working fine on the phone, with the standard HTC e-mail client.

Otherwise I’m still looking forward to the export favorites to file 🙂
